Are you an experienced Site Supervisor who thrives in a fast-paced residential construction environment? We're looking for a proactive and driven professional to oversee site operations, manage subcontractors, and deliver high-quality projects safely, on time, and within budget.

The Role

As a Site Supervisor, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently while maintaining exceptional quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors in accordance with the construction programme, ensuring trades are scheduled in the correct sequence.
  • Allocate tasks and supervise internal trades to ensure works are completed to specification and programme.
  • Complete Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), ensuring all works comply with project scope, design requirements, and manufacturer specifications.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager to maintain site progress and achieve programme milestones.
  • Assist the Project Manager with subcontractor management, ensuring works remain within budget while maintaining productivity and quality.
  • Proactively monitor defects, coordinate rectification with subcontractors, and carry out daily site inspections to maintain a high standard of workmanship.
  • Drive project momentum by ensuring works progress efficiently and deadlines are consistently met.
  • Maintain a safe, organised, and productive site environment.

About You

  • 5-10 years' experience as a Site Supervisor within residential construction.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and confident decision-making.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple trades and competing priorities.
  • Solid understanding of construction programmes, quality assurance, and defect management.
  • Committed to delivering projects safely, on time, and to the highest standard.
